U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) Nighttime Lane Restrictions Scheduled For Resurfacing Operations

PennDOT News, Road Work Updates | October 2nd, 2017

Nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between Neshaminy Road and Newportville Road in Bristol Township, Bucks County on Monday, October 2, through Friday, October 6, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM.

PennDOT says these restrictions will be in place for patching, milling and paving as part of a project to resurface 6.7 miles of U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between the Philadelphia County line and Route 413 (Veterans Highway) in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zone because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling the existing roadway surface and repaving the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
