Our Community Traffic Safety Program is looking for teens from Bucks County high schools to represent the county in a regional event on April 29 that is being held at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center (1030 Horsham Road, Montgomeryville, PA 18936).
The TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program in partnership with the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is set to hold its 5th Annual Teen Safe Driving ROADeo as this free event aims to keep teens safe on the roadway through education, interaction, and fun.
Students and chaperones will rotate through eight stations led by traffic safety professionals. Stations, which include a mock traffic stop with law enforcement, will be held indoors and outdoors so please dress appropriately for the weather as this event is rain or shine.
This educational event runs from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, is FREE of charge, and open to all students from Bucks County and Montgomery County high schools. Students, teachers, administration, and parents can get more information and register online at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/5th-annual-teen-safe-driving-roadeo-tickets-1303366968689.
“If your child is in high school and plans to drive or is a new driver, this is an event they won’t want to miss!” said Carly Wible, TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program Manager. “They’ll have a blast with hands-on demonstrations and even the chance to score some awesome prizes, all while gaining valuable tips on how to be safer, smarter drivers.”
ALL students MUST have a parent or teacher chaperone, guidance counselor, school advisor, another adult over the age of 21, or any group leader accompany them to the event. No exceptions!
Parents, teens or schools can contact TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program manager Carly Wible at carly@bctma.com with any questions.
