TMA News | May 24th, 2024

We were pleased to announce that Payton Trilling of Newtown, Bucks County has been awarded a $1,000 TMA Bucks Foundation Scholarship!

Trilling, who is set to graduate from Council Rock High School North, will be furthering her education at Hofstra University this upcoming fall where she will major in civil engineering.

TMA Bucks and TMA Bucks Foundation executive director Stephen Noll presented Trilling with a certificate on May 24 with her guidance counselor Cristina Rabayda in attendance.

“This year, we again have the pleasure to present a scholarship to a fine individual,” said Noll. “Ms. Trilling distinguished herself in a large field of applicants as someone who will make a considerable difference in the transportation field. We wish her all the best in her engineering studies and look forward to hearing more about her success.”

The Joseph DiGirolamo Scholarship is a one-time award to be paid directly to the college and recognizes Bensalem mayor Joseph DiGirolamo, who was the founder of TMA Bucks and served 11 years as president of the board of directors.

Bucks County high school seniors planning to pursue a course of post high school study in civil engineering, urban planning, transportation management or any other related field have the opportunity to apply annually for scholarships from the TMA Bucks Foundation Scholarship Fund.
