Taylorsville Road Entry Ramps To I-295 EB/SB & Scudder Falls Bridge To Close

I-95/I-295 News, Road Work Updates | November 8th, 2019

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced the two entry ramps from Taylorsville Road to I-295 EB and the Scudder Falls Toll Bridge’s New Jersey-bound lanes are scheduled to be closed and detoured November 12 into early Wednesday morning.

The one-night ramp closures are needed to allow for the removal of an overhead sign structure on Taylorsville Road. The work will involve a coordinated effort between the Scudder Falls project contractor and PECO utility crews, including a power shutdown that will affect some traffic signals along Taylorsville Road.

The two on-ramps to I-295 on the Yardley side of I-295 are scheduled to be shut down from 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12, to 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13.

Any affected motorists during this 10-hour period are advised to follow posted detours to I-295 EB and the Scudder Falls Bridge into New Jersey via the nearby Yardley-Newtown Road/PA Route 332 interchange (Exit 8).
