We recently coordinated a SEPTA travel training event where close to 100 students and staff at both Pennsbury High School campuses in Fairless Hills, Bucks County participated in.
Trained SEPTA ambassadors and occupational therapists were on site with a SEPTA bus to explain the basics of riding SEPTA. Students were able to learn how to board the bus safely, how to use SEPTA Key cards as their fare, proper bus etiquette and how to navigate specific bus routes. Students and staff at Pennsbury also had the opportunity to ask several questions.
Sessions throughout the day were geared for students that were planning to enter the workforce after graduation as well as for the M.O.S.T (More Opportunities for Student Training) program.
