PennDOT District 6 says Route 32 (River Road) is scheduled to close in Plumstead and Solebury townships, Bucks County for mechanized patching operations. Weather permitting, the work schedule is as follows:
- Monday, October 21, and Tuesday, October 22, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Point Pleasant Pike and Fleecy Dale Road in Plumstead and Solebury townships. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Point Pleasant Pike, Route 413 (Durham Road), Mechanicsville Road and Green Hill Road.
- Wednesday, October 23, and Thursday, October 24, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Green Hill Road and Route 263 (Upper York Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Green Hill Road, Mechanicsville Road, Sugan Road and Route 263 (Upper York Road).
Local access will be maintained up to both construction zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
