PennDOT has announced that travel restrictions are scheduled next week on several state highways in Bucks County for various maintenance operations. The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is as follows:
- Monday, December 5, through Thursday, December 8 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound Interstate 95 between the Philadelphia city line and the New Hope/Yardley Interchange in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County for mobile crack sealing operations.
- Wednesday, December 7, through Friday, December 9, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, New Galena Road will be closed between Dover Drive and Trewigtown Road in New Britain Township, Bucks County for drainage pipe installation. During the closure, New Galena Road motorists will be detoured over Dover Drive, Hamlet Drive and Trewigtown Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work zones.
