Regional Teen Safe Driving ROADeo Event Needs Bucks County High Schoolers

Our Community Traffic Safety Program is looking for teens from Bucks County high schools to represent the county in a regional event on May 30 that is being held at the West Whiteland Police Department (101 Commerce Drive, Exton, PA 19341).

The TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program, Chester County Highway Safety Project, Delaware County Transportation Management Association, and Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services is holding its 4th Annual Teen Safe Driving ROADeo in partnership with PennDOT District 6.

This event aims to keep teens safe on the roadway through education, interaction, and fun. There will be multiple “stations” for teens to rotate through during the event including a blind spot demonstration with a semi-truck, defensive driving academy, drug recognition expert-impaired & drugged driving exercise, fatal vision goggles demonstration, mock traffic stop, PennDOT work zone, teen driving family feud game, and vehicle service station demonstration.

This educational event runs from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, is FREE of charge, and open to all students from Bucks County high schools. They can get more information and register online at https://www.tmabucks.com/event/4th-annual-southeastern-pennsylvania-teen-safe-driving-roadeo/

ALL students MUST have a parent or teacher chaperone, guidance counselor, school advisor, another adult over the age of 21, or any group leader accompany them to the event. No exceptions!

“If your child is in high school this is something you want them to participate in,” explained TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program manager Carly Wible. “Students will enjoy food and drinks, participate in interactive demonstrations, and also have the chance to win some cool prizes and giveaways, all while learning to be safe drivers.”

Parents, teens or schools can contact TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety Program manager Carly Wible at carly@bctma.com with any questions.
