Throughout this school year, our Community Traffic Safety Program worked closely with the Quakertown Community High School life skills students to learn how to be safe pedestrians. Students had the opportunity to view several informational presentations and play interactive games that helped stress the rules and laws for pedestrians and motorists.
The students closed out the school year taking their skills learned inside the classroom to the outside, where they practiced crossing the street with Quakertown Borough Police Department Officer Bob Lee, who is also a TMA Bucks Foundation board member.
