Prepaid SEPTA Regional Rail Paper Tickets No Longer To Be Accepted

Transit News | March 10th, 2021

The sale of prepaid SEPTA Regional Rail paper tickets – single & 10 trip – ended October 1, 2020. These tickets are valid for 180 days from the date stamped on the back of the ticket – which means the last date they could be valid is March 31, 2021.

SEPTA has announced it will stop accepting these tickets on Regional Rail trains and at the turnstiles at the Center City Regional Rail Stations on Friday, April 2, 2021.

If you haven’t already – now’s the time to make the switch to SEPTA Key. A SEPTA Key card is reusable, reloadable, and replaceable (if you lose it – just make sure it’s registered).
