The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises motorists traveling in both directions on Interstate 276 and Interstate 95, to be prepared for slow-moving or stopped traffic approaching the Delaware River Bridge, Exit 359, in Bristol Township, Bucks County on Wednesday, May 13 and Thursday, May 14.
Starting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, the northbound right lane and the southbound left lane on Interstate 95 will be closed. From 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13 to 4:00 a.m. Thursday, May 14, crews will conduct traffic stoppages and paces for northbound traffic so crews can safely erect sign structures at milepost H42.61 (formerly milepost 358.17 on the PA Turnpike.)
During the stoppages, Turnpike maintenance and state police vehicles will restrict Turnpike traffic to a speed of 20-25 miles an hour.
Pennsylvania State Police and Turnpike personnel will be positioned at the impacted areas to assist drivers. Changeable message signs will also provide information on closures. Motorists are encouraged to plan travel accordingly. Work schedules are subject to change based on weather conditions.
