PennDOT District 6 says that construction will begin May 15 to replace the Stony Hill Road culvert over Brock Creek in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County, as part of a project to replace four culverts in Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction for Monday, May 15 through mid-September as Stony Hill Road will be closed and detoured between Judith Place and Oxford Valley Road.
During the closure, motorists are directed to use Heacock Road/Oxford Valley Road and Big Oak Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. The schedule is weather dependent.
