PennDOT District 6 says it has reopened the bridge carrying Route 313 (Dublin Pike/Swamp Road) over Deep Run in Hilltown and Bedminster townships, Bucks County following the completion of a rehabilitation project.
PennDOT’s contractor replaced the existing structure with a concrete box culvert; milled and paved the roadway; installed impact attenuators; and replaced the guiderail.
Built in 1924, and reconstructed in 1940, the single-span bridge is 14 feet long and 38 feet wide and carries an average of 17,018 vehicles a day.
