PennDOT District 6 has reopened the bridge carrying Bristol Road over Neshaminy Creek in New Britain Township, Bucks County following the completion of a rehabilitation project.
PennDOT’s contractor repaired joints at both piers; performed hydro scarification of bridge deck and latex modified concrete surface repairs; paved at both approaches; and placed pavement markings on the new bridge deck and roadway.
Built in 1967, the Bristol Road bridge over Neshaminy Creek is 155 feet long and 44 feet wide, which carries an average of 7,994 vehicles a day.
