PennDOT District 6 announced on May 22, 2026 that construction has been completed ahead of schedule on the project to replace the bridge that carries Stony Garden Road over Dimple Creek in Haycock Township, Bucks County.
Under this project, PennDOT’s contractor replaced the 90-year-old single-span, 16-foot I-beam bridge with a box culvert. The new culvert will maintain lane widths while increasing shoulder widths by over a foot.
This bridge replacement is part of a $2.7 million project to replace or rehabilitate several structures in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
