PennDOT District 6 says that the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will perform bridge repair on Newportville Road in Bristol Township, Bucks County. Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- From 6:00 AM Monday, June 8, to 3:00 PM Friday, June 12, Newportville Road will be closed and detoured between Zimmerman Lane and New Falls Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Zimmerman Lane and New Falls Road.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike will complete this work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
