New SEPTA Regional Rail Schedules Go Into Effect December 11

Transit News | December 9th, 2016

New SEPTA Regional Rail schedules go into effect this Sunday, December 11, 2016. Customers should refer to the December 2016 Regional Rail Schedule page on SEPTA’s website – http://www.septa.org/schedules/upcoming-rail.html – for schedule information and details about specific changes to their lines and to download the new timetables. Printed timetables will also be available at Center City and outlying Regional Rail stations.

On most Regional Rail lines, there will be adjustments to weekday train run times, which will mean some trains will depart earlier or later than currently scheduled.

Here are some of the more significant schedule changes that impact Bucks County:

  • Lansdale/Doylestown: Weekday inbound Train #6537 will depart from Doylestown at 12:52 PM, 20 minutes earlier. Weekday outbound morning train #6506 will depart from Suburban Station at 6:55 AM, 13 minutes earlier than previously scheduled.
  • Warminster: Select morning and evening weekday trains that previously originated from Glenside will now originate at Warminster and make all stops into Center City. New weekday service has been added between Warminster and Ardsley stations. A new early morning train will depart from Warminster at 5:00 AM, provide service through Center City and continue to the Airport.
