PennDOT says double lane closures are scheduled on southbound Interstate 95 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Route 132 (Street Road) interchanges on Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for bridge deck repair and patching operations as part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County.
PennDOT says motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on southbound I-95 in the work area because backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new guide rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge deck repairs; and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95 corridor in Bucks County. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
