Double lane closures are scheduled on southbound Interstate 95 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Route 132 (Street Road) interchanges on Monday, March 26, through Friday, March 30, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for milling operations as part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County.
PennDOT says motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on southbound I-95 in the work area because backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new guide rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge deck repairs; and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95 corridor in Bucks County. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
