Interstate 95 motorists will encounter single and double lane closures in both directions the week of May 7 between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 332 (Newtown Yardley) interchanges, for bridge deck repair, patching and paving operations as part of a project to fix and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County.
The work schedule is as follows according to PennDOT:
- Monday, May 7, through Friday, May 11, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, single and double lane closures are scheduled on I-95 in both directions between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges,
- Monday, May 7, through Friday, May 11, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, the right lane is scheduled to close on northbound I-95 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Route 332 (Newtown Yardley) interchanges.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the work areas because significant backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
