Northbound and southbound Interstate 95 will be reduced to a single right lane between the Route 132 (Street Road) and Route 413 (Bristol) interchanges on Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27 from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for bridge deck repair, patching and milling operations as part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County.
PennDOT says motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the work area because significant backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new guide rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge deck repairs; and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95 corridor in Bucks County. The entire project is scheduled to be completed in the fall.
