PennDOT District 6 says the northbound Interstate 95 on-and off-ramps to Woodhaven Road (Route 63) in Bensalem Township, Bucks County will remain closed for cleanup and repair operations following a tanker crash on February 7.
During this closure, northbound I-95 motorists wanting to access Woodhaven Road (Route 63) will be directed to use Academy Road and U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue/Bristol Pike) or Route 132 (Street Road) and U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike). Eastbound Woodhaven Road (Route 63) motorists wanting to access northbound I-95 will be directed to use U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) and Route 132 (Street Road).
Both ramps will remain closed while PennDOT’s contractor makes necessary repairs to the roadway.
The ramp from eastbound Woodhaven Road (Route 63) to northbound I-95 is expected to reopen sometime tonight, while more extensive repairs to reopen the northbound I-95 ramp to Woodhaven Road (Route 63) are expected to be completed by Friday night, February 8.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the detoured areas because backups and delays will occur.
