PennDOT says northbound Interstate 95 motorists will encounter single and double lane closures between the Academy Road and Route 332 (Newtown Yardley) interchanges on Monday, July 16, through Friday, July 20, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for roadway patching and pipe cleaning operations as part of a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships, Bucks County. The work schedule is:
- Double lane closures are scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Academy Road and Route 132 (Street Road) interchanges for patching.
- A single left lane closure is planned on northbound I-95 between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Route 332 (Newtown Yardley) interchanges for pipe cleaning.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 in the work areas because backups and delays will occur. The contractor’s schedule is weather dependent.
