Our Community Traffic Safety Program recently kicked off back to school with an exciting BMX stunt show school safety assembly and presentation to Holland Middle School students of the Council Rock School District.
This engaging program emphasized bicycle safety including proper helmet use to seventh and eighth graders through exciting BMX demonstrations from professional BMX bikers from Dialed Action Sports.
“Starting the school year with a BMX bike safety event is a great way to remind students that safety should be part of every ride,” explained TMA Bucks deputy director David Walter. “By combining fun with important safety lessons, we can help students build good habits, wear the right gear like helmets, and start the school year riding smart and staying safe.”
Made possible through Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside grant funding, this initiative provided an engaging educational experience that merged thrill with safety awareness like the importance of always wearing a helmet.
