Helmet Safety And BMX Stunts Inspire Council Rock School District Elementary Students

Highway Safety News, TMA News | May 28th, 2026

Our Community Traffic Safety Program recently brought an exciting BMX stunt show school safety assembly and presentation to elementary school students of the Council Rock School District.

This engaging program emphasized bicycle safety including proper helmet use through exciting BMX demonstrations from professional BMX bikers from Dialed Action Sports to elementary students from Maureen M. Welch Elementary School in Churchville and Holland Elementary School in Holland.

“From classroom lessons to high-flying BMX stunts, our bicycle safety outreach this school year with Council Rock showed students that smart riding skills and safe choices can be both educational and exciting,” said TMA Bucks project coordinator Nicole Rodowicz. “The journey ended with an unforgettable reminder that safety is not just something we learn but something we practice every day.”

Made possible through the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission’s Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside grant funding, this initiative provided a free, engaging educational experience that merged thrill with safety awareness like the importance of always wearing a helmet.
