FREE Rides On SEPTA Broad Street Line For Eagles Opener

Transit News | September 7th, 2016

The Philadelphia Eagles 2016 home opener is Sunday, September 11 and kick-off is set for 1:00 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field.

For the fourth season in a row, the Original Light Beer is teaming up with SEPTA to provide Eagles fans with safe and free rides to the stadium on game day. In partnership with Muller, Inc., Miller Lite will give free rides on the Broad Street Line on Sunday (9/11) from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

“Even through all the cheering, as a transit system, our top priority is always the safety and security of our customers,” said Jeff Knueppel, SEPTA General Manager. “We encourage Eagles fans to take advantage of the free rides from Miller Lite and let SEPTA be their designated driver.”

To accommodate fans headed to the game, SEPTA will supplement regularly scheduled local train service with ten extra “Sports Express” trips. More information about SEPTA Sports Express Service is available online at www.septa.org/events/sports.html
