Our Community Traffic Safety Program was proud to distribute free bicycle safety helmets to Pennsbury School District students that were recognized at the end of the school year for their achievements as health wellness winners.
The winning students from Walt Disney Elementary, Charles Boehm Middle School, and Pennsbury High School logged the most daily healthy activities for the month of May in a district wide contest. These students also participated in the district’s “Walk, Ride & Roll To School Day.”
The winning students, who also each won a bike for their efforts, were properly fitted for their free bicycle safety helmets by our Community Traffic Safety Program manager Carly Wible.
Edgewood Elementary received a trophy from administration for their school-wide efforts as well as 10 bicycle safety helmets from TMA Bucks that they can distribute throughout the next school year for students in need.
