The national standardized child passenger safety technician certification course combines classroom instruction, hands-on work with car seats and vehicles, and a community safety seat checkup event.
The next training course in Bucks County will be September 26– 29 at Yardley Makefield Fire Company. Each class day is 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
You must attend all four days!
At the checkup event, students demonstrate skills learned during class, following event procedures and instructions, proper use and installation of child restraints and safety belts and the ability to teach parents and caregivers how to properly protect their family on the road. Successful completion of this course certifies the individual as a CPS technician for two years. The cost of the course is $95.00.
