PennDOT District 6 says Dunks Ferry Road is scheduled to close between Mechanicsville Road and Knights Road in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, beginning Monday, January 7 for pipe replacement related to a project to repair and resurface 15 miles of state highway in Bucks County. The road closure will be in effect through the end of February.
During the closure, Dunks Ferry Road motorists will be detoured over Mechanicsville Road, Route 132 (Street Road), and Knights Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.
