PennDOT District 6 provided an update that Bristol Road between Spruce Avenue and U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway) opened to traffic the morning of February 6 in Bensalem Township, Bucks County following a two-day closure due to severe deterioration of a pipe.
The state highway will close again on Monday, February 11, through Wednesday, February 13 for additional repair.
During the closure, Bristol Road motorists will be detoured over U.S. 1 (Lincoln Highway), Route 132 (Street Road), and Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike). Local access will be maintained up to the closure. The schedule is weather dependent.
