Our Community Traffic Safety Program recently conducted bicycle safety lessons during physical education classes at Churchville Elementary School of the Council Rock School District.
The basics of proper helmet and bike fit, rules of the road, and correct hand signals to make to drivers and pedestrians were all taught during the lessons.
Students also had the opportunity to showcase the newly learned hand signals on a small safety course that included stop signs, caution signs, and traffic signals.
