Alternating Single-Lane Travel Pattern Scheduled On Woodside Road East Of Taylorsville Road In Lower Makefield

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission says Woodside Road east of Taylorsville Road in Lower Makefield is scheduled to be reduced to a single travel lane with traffic controlled by flaggers throughout Wednesday, February 5 as part of work for the Scudder Falls Bridge Replacement Project.

The alternating traffic pattern is needed to allow for repair of a roadway depression as well as repair of various potholes in the area where the roadway crosses the Delaware Canal. The single-lane pattern is expected to be in effect all day, starting at approximately 7:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 5.

Motorists who travel this portion of Woodside Road are advised to allow extra time to reach their destinations during peak morning and evening commuting periods or plan alternate routes.

The aforementioned scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather, emergency, traffic, and equipment/materials mobilization considerations. Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.
