PennDOT says nighttime lane restrictions are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between Newportville Road and Route 413 (Veterans Highway) in Bristol Township, on Monday, June 12, through Friday, June 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for resurfacing operations. The project is scheduled to be completed in summer 2017.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work zones because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.
Under this improvement project, PennDOT will mill the existing roadway surface and repave the state highways with new asphalt. The new pavement will seal the roadways and provide motorists with a smoother riding surface.
