I-95 South Double Lane Closure Planned To Complete Bridge Repair Over U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike)

PennDOT District 6 says southbound Interstate 95 motorists will encounter a double lane closure on Wednesday, September 2 from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for the completion of emergency bridge repairs on the structure carrying the interstate over U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) in Bensalem Township, Bucks County.

Crews will be removing the temporary concrete barrier in the left lane and perform line striping operations to reopen the interstate to all three travel lanes by 5:00 AM Thursday, September 3.

Work will continue underneath I-95 on U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) through at least the end of September. The right lane and shoulder will be closed on northbound U.S. 13 (Bristol Pike) between Bensalem Boulevard and Haunted Lane.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
