Bridge Inspections To Cause Lane Restrictions In Doylestown

PennDOT has announced that lane restrictions are scheduled in Doylestown, Bucks County for bridge inspections. Weather permitting the schedule is as follows:

  • Friday, March 17, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to close on northbound Route 611 (Easton Road) between Almshouse Road and Edison Furlong Road in Doylestown Township, Bucks County.
  • Friday, March 17, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, the right lane is scheduled to close on southbound Route 611 (Easton Road) between Edison Furlong Road and Almshouse Road in Doylestown Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this area. The bridge inspections are part of PennDOT’s program to inspect state bridges at least once every two years. The inspection ensures the safety and overall condition of the structure.
