Our Community Traffic Safety Program recently brought an exciting BMX stunt show school safety assembly and presentation to Valley Elementary School students of the Bensalem School District.
This engaging program emphasized bicycle safety including proper helmet use through exciting BMX demonstrations from professional BMX bikers from Dialed Action Sports to students.
“This presentation really resonates with kids because it provides students with a memorable, high-energy experience from people outside their school that reinforces the importance of bicycle safety and proper helmet use in a fun and dynamic way,” said TMA Bucks deputy director David Walter.
Made possible through the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission’s Transportation Alternatives Set-Aside grant funding, this initiative provided a free, engaging educational experience that merged thrill with safety awareness like the importance of always wearing a helmet.
