I-295 West, I-95 South Double Lane Closure At Night Set For Resurfacing Operations In Bucks County

PennDOT District 6 says westbound Interstate 295 and southbound Interstate 95 motorists in Bucks County will encounter a double lane closure between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges on Monday, July 22, through Friday, July 26, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for asphalt milling under a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of the interstates in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-295 and I-95 in the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Under this improvement project, PennDOT is milling, overlaying and rehabilitating existing pavement; performing base repairs; installing new guide rail; repairing or replacing damaged traffic signs; performing minor bridge deck repairs; and installing rumble strips and delineators along the I-95 and I-295 corridor in Bucks County.
