Guide Rail Repairs To Cause Restrictions In Bucks County

PennDOT District 6 says lane closures are scheduled in Bucks County due to guide rail repairs. The work schedule is as planned:

  • Monday, March 2, through Friday, March 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 between Route 213 (Maple Avenue) and Rockhill Drive in Langhorne Manor Borough and Bensalem and Middletown townships.
  • Monday, March 2, through Friday, March 6, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a left lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 1 between Pennsylvania Avenue and U.S. 13 in Morrisville Borough and Falls Township.
  • Thursday, March 5, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, a lane closure will be in place on the ramp from northbound River Road/Pennsylvania Avenue to Tyburn Road in Falls Township.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
