Weekday Lane Restrictions Scheduled As Part of Main Street Bridge Replacement In Sellersville

PennDOT News, Road Work Updates | February 26th, 2018

PennDOT says weekday lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled in both directions on Main Street between Park Avenue and Elm Street in Sellersville Borough, Bucks County on Monday, February 26, through Friday, March 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for construction activities related to the project to replace the three-span bridge carrying Main Street over Perkiomen Creek.

Crews will be performing pipe drainage work; removing trees; constructing an access road; and relocating utilities.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area because slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

During construction, the bridge will remain open to vehicular and pedestrian traffic as the contractor builds the new structure. However, there will be additional periods of lane restrictions with flagging.
