U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) Outer Lane Closures Scheduled For Repair & Resurfacing Operations Near The Bucks County Line

Daytime and nighttime lane closures are scheduled in both directions on the outer lanes of U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) as part of a major improvement project to repair and resurface 12 miles of U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between 9th Street and the Bucks County line in Philadelphia.

The work schedule is as follows according to PennDOT:

  • Monday, September 25, through Thursday, September 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, lane closures are scheduled northbound and southbound on the outer lanes of U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between 9th Street and the Bucks County line for milling, paving and line striping;
  • Friday, September 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 AM the next morning, lane closures are scheduled northbound and southbound on the outer lanes of U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) between 9th Street and the Bucks County line for milling, paving and line striping.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling on U.S. 1 (Roosevelt Boulevard) in the work areas because backups and delays will occur during construction.
