TMA Bucks Volunteers & Participates In Walk To School Day

Highway Safety News, TMA News | October 10th, 2018

TMA Bucks was happy to volunteer with local community organizations for “Walk To School Day” on Wednesday, October 10 at Pearl S. Buck Elementary School of Neshaminy School District. This was a global event that focuses on pedestrian safety and involves communities walking to school on the same day.

“TMA Bucks is happy to come together with other community organizations to help raise awareness to students, parents and educators on pedestrian safety,” said TMA Bucks communications manager David Walter, who volunteered at the event. “This is a great way of educating the community about safer routes and safe practices for walking, pedestrian safety, traffic congestion and concern for the environment. Educational events like this that include children, parents, educators and local police help build connections between families, schools and the broader community.”
