SEPTA Travel Training A Success For Bucks County Center For Independent Living

TMA News, Transit News | January 23rd, 2023

We recently assisted the Bucks County Center for Independent Living with a SEPTA travel training session for high school students from lower Bucks County.

Trained SEPTA ambassadors and occupational therapists were on site with a SEPTA bus at the Bucks County Community College Gene and Marlene Epstein Campus at Lower Bucks in Bristol to explain to students and staff from Bensalem High School, the Bucks County Technical High School and Neshaminy High School the basics of riding SEPTA.

Students were able to learn how to board the bus safely, how to use SEPTA Key cards as their fare, proper bus etiquette and how to navigate specific bus routes. Students also had the opportunity to ask several questions.

If you would like to schedule a SEPTA travel training for your school or organization please contact TMA Bucks project coordinator Ashley Sulon at ashley@bctma.com.
