PennDOT has announced that SEPTA is planning to close Lower State Road between New Britain Road and Wisteria Drive in Doylestown Township, Bucks County from 9:00 AM Monday, July 9, to 5:00 PM Friday, July 13, for grade crossing maintenance.
During the around-the-clock closure, Lower State Road motorists will be detoured over U.S. 202, Route 611 and State Street.
Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because slowdowns will occur during construction. The schedule is weather dependent.
