PECO is scheduled to close Brownsville Road weekdays between Broadview Avenue and Old Lincoln Highway in Middletown Township, Bucks County starting Wednesday, September 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for gas main replacement.
PennDOT says the weekday closure will be in effect through mid-October.
During construction, Brownsville Road motorists will be detoured over Old Lincoln Highway, Route 213 (Maple Avenue) and Bristol Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.
