PennDOT District 6 says southbound Interstate 95 motorists in Bucks County will encounter a double lane closure between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Academy Road interchanges on Monday, November 4 through Friday, November 8 from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM for final construction activities on a project to repair and resurface 13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown and Lower Makefield townships.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather permitting.
Under this $36.6 million project, PennDOT rehabilitated existing pavement; performed base repairs; installed new guide rail; repaired or replaced damaged traffic signs; performed minor bridge deck repairs; and installed rumble strips and delineators along the I-95/I-295 corridor.
