Exit Ramp To Route 29 From Route 1 Northbound To Close On New Jersey Side Of Trenton-Morrisville (Route 1) Toll Bridge

Road Work Updates | October 15th, 2018

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission announced that the exit ramp to Route 29 will be closed from Route 1 NB on the New Jersey side of the Trenton-Morrisville (Route 1) Toll Bridge during overnight hours late Tuesday, October 16 into early Wednesday, October 17.

The exit ramp will be rendered inaccessible as a result of a right lane closure along Route 1 NB in the vicinity of the toll bridge from 10:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 16 to 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 17.

The scheduled travel restrictions will allow a commission contractor to install new security cameras and wireless radio transmitters. The closure period also will be utilized by Commission maintenance crews to conduct drainage-system cleaning/repair work.

There will not be any designated detour routes during this brief closure period; motorists are advised to plan alternate routes.

The lane and ramp closures are subject to change due to weather, emergency, and traffic considerations. Motorists are urged to allow extra time to reach their destinations, to reduce speeds, and to exercise caution when travelling through project work areas.
