Bristol Road To Close Weekdays For Pipe Removal In Upper Southampton And Northampton

Bristol Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) and Churchville Road in Upper Southampton and Northampton townships, Bucks County beginning Monday, March 26, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for pipe removal.

This daytime closure will be in effect through Friday, April 6 according to PennDOT.

Bristol Road motorists will be directed to use Route 232 (2nd Street Pike), Route 132 (Street Road) and Churchville Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

In addition, motorists will encounter weekday lane restrictions with flagging on Churchville Lane between Bristol Road and Holland Road in Northampton Township, Bucks County, beginning Tuesday, March 27, through Friday, April 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for base repair and resurfacing operations.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this work zone because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.
