PennDOT District 6 says Aqua Pennsylvania is planning to close Bristol Road between Butler Avenue and Forrest Drive/Green Valley Way in Chalfont and New Britain boroughs as well as New Britain Township, Bucks County, beginning Monday, August 2, for water main installation.
The closure will be in place Mondays through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through Tuesday, November 30.
During the weekday closure, Bristol Road motorists will be directed to use Butler Avenue, Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) and U.S. 202. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
