Bristol Road And Churchville Lane Travel Restrictions Scheduled For Utility Work And Base Repair

PennDOT News, Road Work Updates | April 6th, 2018

PennDOT says travel restrictions are scheduled on a pair of state highways for utility work and resurfacing operations in Bucks County. Bristol Road will be closed and detoured weekdays between Route 232 (2nd Street Pike) and Churchville Road in Upper Southampton and Northampton townships, on Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for pipe removal and utility adjustments.

Bristol Road motorists will be directed to use Route 232 (2nd Street Pike), Route 132 (Street Road) and Churchville Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.

In addition, weekday lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Churchville Lane between Bristol Road and Holland Road in Northampton Township, on Monday, April 9, through Friday, April 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for base repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work zones because slowdowns will occur during construction. The contractor’s schedule is dependent on the weather.
